At Mama Asha’s Home, we provide comfortable and cozy accommodations for our volunteers, ensuring a restful stay amidst your adventures and volunteer work in Tanzania.

Our home offers two seperate volunteer bedrooms that are designed to accommodate different group sizes and preferences:

  • Double Bed Room: This spacious bedroom features two double beds, ideal for couples or friends traveling together.
  • Bunk Bed Room: Perfect for solo travelers or smaller groups.

Additionally, volunteers have access to a shared western-style toilet and bathroom, equipped with modern amenities for your convenience.

After a day of volunteering or sightseeing, unwind and connect with us in our spacious outdoor courtyard and lush green spaces within the safety and security of our property’s walls or cozy shared living room with plenty of seating for all.  At Mama Asha’s Home, we have plenty of space inside and outside to create a welcoming environment where you can recharge and make lasting memories.

  • Mama Asha: Our gracious host and the heart of our home. With years of experience in education and a passion for community service, Mama Asha ensures that every guest feels like family.
  • Hamida: Our diligent maid, always on hand to assist with cleaning and cooking, ensuring that our home is comfortable and welcoming.
  • Sonia: A bright student studying at Kaloleni Secondary School, Sonia is immersed in her studies during the day, but she adds youthful energy and joy to our evenings.
  • Raya: Pursuing her diploma in Business Management at the Institutes of Accountancy Arusha, Raya brings ambition and determination to our household.
  • Abdallah (Uncle Dullah): A seasoned tour guide, Uncle Dullah shares his insights into Tanzanian culture and history, enriching our guests’ experiences with his knowledge and expertise.

Our home is not only a place to stay but also a launchpad for exploration. Located within walking distance of Ngusero Sombetini Daladala stations, volunteers can easily access Arusha’s city center and beyond.
